WHO WE ARE

Center for Health Promotion and Integrated Development formerly called Mbarara Center for Sports and Health Promotion is a legally registered not-for-profit NGO based in Mbarara city, Uganda that is dedicated to prevention and early detection of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) among Ugandans. Established in 2008, the Organisation engages the Uganda’s health sector by harnessing the expertise of our health care professionals in partnership with local governments, health facilities, schools, and communities to improve the health of all Ugandans. We achieve this through interventions that engage and empower vulnerable populations and underserved communities to adopt healthy behaviors, and make changes that reduce the risk of developing NCDs.
