The Global Diabetes Walk 2023

World Diabetes Day was celebrated on Tuesday, 14 November 2023. To celebrate the day, the Center for Health Promotion and Integrated Development organised a ‘Global Diabetes Walk’. The walk started from the Independence Park at 11.30 AM and walked through several streets of Mbarara City, with over 200 participants in attendance. They included school children, teachers, University students, civil society, invited guests and people from the city as well as surrounding communities. The walk concluded at the city council Mayor’s Gardens.
